The Problem
While Bitcoin provides a robust foundation for financial transactions, its infrastructure lacks the complex mechanisms required for sophisticated DeFi applications that institutions and decentralized applications need. Existing solutions like Chainlink and The Graph have pioneered pathways for Oracles and indexing but are primarily Ethereum-focused and struggle with issues like centralization and scalability on Bitcoin's unique architecture.
Current solutions on Bitcoin struggle with several key issues:
Data Reliability: Existing oracle solutions like Chainlink are primarily Ethereum-focused or EVM chain focused and often do not support Bitcoin natively.
Scalability: Solutions like The Graph provide indexing but are not optimized for Bitcoin’s unique architecture, leading to inefficiencies.
Integration Difficulty: Many existing tools are not designed to operate seamlessly with Bitcoin’s Layer 2 solutions, complicating their adoption.
Lack of access: Deep, granular, historical bitcoin blockchain data is not easily accessible. It’s currently slow, expensive, incomplete and current solutions are too niche (nothing is better than good old SQL, and it’s needed for mainstream adoption)
Bitcoin ecosystem acceleration is the future. With the rise of fungible tokens, smart contracts, and other new breakthroughs on Bitcoin and it’s L2s, a native indexing and oracle layer is necessary to facilitate future developments, but also with AI enhancements, it can be built optimally robust on the shortcomings of earlier projects.
The Solution

Torram's network or oracles not only fetch data but also validate, verify, process, query, and analyze it using advanced machine learning models and Generative AI to provide near real-time data feeds with low latency, confidence in accuracy (multiple data feed verification instantly using AI), and security. This network would reduce reliance on any single data source and provide a more robust framework for real-world data integration into Bitcoin DeFi projects.
Real-time Price Feeds: Leveraging AI to provide real-time, accurate, and tamper-resistant data feeds from off-chain and on-chain inputs.
Decentralized Verifiers: Utilizing a network of decentralized verifiers that cross-check data to ensure integrity and accuracy, minimizing centralization, and maximizing integrity.
Indexers for the Bitcoin network
Torrmam's network will index all the native data from the Bitcoin network such as ordinals, runes, and BRC20s along with the Web2 data (forex, stocks, commodity, etc prices) from the Torram oracles.
